It is okay for men to wear metallic colors. Simply treat a gold shoe as you would a brown shoe or a silver shoe a black. Try a gold sport shoe with a pair of light, distressed denim. Don't be afraid...no one will laugh at you.

Quantity vs. Quality
Walk into any department store, go to the men's footwear department. What do you see? 50 black dress shoes, 50 brown dress shoes, 50 loafers, ! We, men, have been brainwashed to believe more is more. I strongly disagree...quality and uniqueness overrides quantity.
